Terms of service

1. The service

Ballpark provides software that helps event agencies produce indicative cost estimates, discover approved suppliers, agree scopes of work and manage delivery. Ballpark is not the supplier of event services. Contracts for those services are formed between the agency and the supplier.

2. Estimates

Ballpark estimates are indicative and subject to supplier confirmation, final scope, availability, delivery requirements and VAT. An estimate is not an offer, a quotation or a binding price.

3. Fees

• Agencies pay a subscription fee for access, as set out on the pricing page.
• Ballpark charges a platform fee of 3% (configurable by Ballpark on notice) on transactions processed through the platform.
• Marketplace prices displayed to agencies may be inclusive of the platform fee. The supplier subtotal, platform fee, tax and agency total are recorded separately and itemised on statements.

4. Payments

50% of the agreed contract value is payable when a statement of work is signed by both parties. The remaining 50% falls due at the agreed delivery milestone. Payments are processed by Stripe. Funds are held and released according to the configured payout process; Ballpark does not operate a client escrow account and does not represent milestone payments as escrow.

5. Supplier approval

Suppliers and listings are reviewed before publication. Approval indicates that submitted information has been reviewed, not that Ballpark warrants the quality or suitability of any supplier or service.

6. Changes to signed work

A signed statement of work cannot be amended unilaterally. Approved additions or changes generate an addendum or a separate statement of work, signed by both parties.

7. Disputes

Disputes raised through the platform are logged and may be reviewed by a Ballpark administrator. This does not limit either party’s statutory or contractual rights.
